The M40i trim distinguishes itself from the first two trims with its six-cylinder, 3.0-liter engine, with 382 horsepower and 362 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, a 48-volt starter adds 11 horsepower for short drives. The M trim has the most powerful engine by a substantial margin, with 473 horsepower and 453 pound-feet of torque.
Driver-Focused Technology
All trims of the 2023 BMW X3 utilize a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay™, and satellite radio connectivity enable a driver to listen to their music from many sources.
