When to Perform Maintenance
The BMW Maintenance System allows you to create a maintenance schedule tailored to your driving conditions. This is in contrast to traditional methods, where drivers bring in their car at set temporal and or mileage intervals. Usually, warranties provided by the dealership cover maintenance performed every six months or every 5,000 miles. However, if you drive in more varied settings, like city driving, you may require a schedule with faster turnaround times, even if you drive fewer miles than the recommended warranty amount.
